Due to continuous growth, my client, an innovative telecommunications provider, is seeking two Technical Support Engineers to join them in their London based office in the heart of Dalston! If you are looking to gain experience in 2nd/3rd line support or looking to build upon your current experience with a reputable company, then this role is for you!

The working hours are Monday - Thursday 8:50am - 5:30pm and Friday 8:50am - 5pm, with the flexibility to leave early for outside of work commitments as long as time is made up.

 

Role:

You will be the first point of contact for customers and will be required to carry out 1st – 3rd line duties whilst providing excellent customer service. Such duties include setting up broadband/VoIP/networking equipment for customers; configuring routers, switches and Wi-Fi access points; and writing and compiling technical documentation guides.

Flexibility to travel to client sites (all London based) and a full clean driving licence will be required. The role is 80% desk based and 20% at client sites which is normally no more than a 30 minute travel from the office. 

 

The following are essential:

  • Experience setting up, configuring and troubleshooting routers and switches
  • Configuring and troubleshooting VoIP devices e.g. Draytek, Cisco SPA, Polycom, Yealink, SNOM etc.
  • Experience supporting a broad range of Microsoft products
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
  • ‘Can do’ attitude

 

The following are desirable:

  • Experience supporting Hosted VoIP telephony
  • Experience with Wholesale Line Rental (WLR) and Analogue Lines
  • Experience working in an ITIL environment and adhering to SLAs and KPIs

 

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 + Bonus + Benefits (including 24 holidays this year, pension, travel expenses and team social events, to name a few!)
