An opportunity has come up for a 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer to join a printing solutions company on a 3 month contract near Staines, South West London.

You will act as the first point of contact for customers and will be required to carry out 1st and 2nd line duties whilst providing excellent customer service. Such duties include logging and maintaining the call management system; managing incidents in line with KPIs; escalating issues to the appropriate teams/departments; and adhering to existing IT methodologies, policies and procedures.

The following are essential:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in 1st/2nd line support
  • Supporting Microsoft Windows OS
  • Active Directory: GPO, troubleshooting etc.
  • Networking: VPN, WAN, LAN and TCPIP (DHCP, DNS etc.)
  • VoIP: Mitel/Avaya or similar
  • Experience working in a KPI driven environment
  • Customer focused and a friendly telephone manner

The following are desirable:

  • Experience adhering to SLAs
  • Certifications: A+, MCSA/E, Network+, CCNA/P or similar


Rate: Circa £145/day
