An opportunity has come up for a 1st Line Support Engineer to join a global design company based in South West London.

You will be the first point of contact for customers and will be required to carry out mostly 1st line duties. This role will also give the successful candidate the opportunity to gain or build upon their experience in 2nd line support. Such duties include call logging and maintaining the call management system; ensuring all requests are responded to and resolved within agreed SLA targets; and plan, manage and deliver IT projects.

The following are essential:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in 1nd line support
  • Supporting Microsoft Windows OS
  • Active Directory: GPO, troubleshooting etc.
  • Good knowledge in Windows Server
  • Customer focused and a friendly telephone manner
  • ‘Can do’ attitude

The following are desirable:

  • Mac OS X
  • Experience adhering to SLAs
  • Working in a KPI driven environment

 

Rate: Circa £27,000 Maximum
