An opportunity has come up for a 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer to join an innovative IT solutions company based in Putney, South West London.

You will be the first point of contact for customers and will be required to carry out 1st and 2nd line duties whilst providing excellent customer service. Such duties include call logging and maintaining the call management system; managing incidents in line with KPIs; and adhering to existing IT methodologies, policies and procedures.

The following are essential:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in 2nd line support
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Supporting Microsoft Windows OS
  • Active Directory: GPO, troubleshooting etc.
  • Exchange 2007/2010/2013
  • Windows Server: administration including 2003/2008/2012
  • Networking: DHCP, DNS etc.
  • Customer focused and a friendly telephone manner
  • ‘Can do’ attitude

The following are desirable:

  • Mac OS X
  • Experience adhering to SLAs
  • Working in a KPI driven environment

 

Salary: Circa £32,000

 

You’ll receive ongoing training and mentoring with this position. You may also be required to travel to national sites on an ad-hoc basis. International travel is optional but all expenses will be paid for!
