An exciting opportunity has come up for a 1st /2nd Line Support Engineer to join a worldwide creative agency in Central London.

You will be the first point of contact for staff within the agency and will be required to carry out mostly 1st line and some 2nd line duties. This role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to gain or build upon their existing experience in 2nd line support. Such duties include call logging and maintaining the call management system; providing hardware and software support via phone, email and in person, whilst ensuring all requests are responded to and resolved in a quick and efficient timely manner; and escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate IT team member. 

The following are essential:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in 1st line support
  • Supporting Microsoft Windows and Mac OS environments
  • Active Directory: GPO, troubleshooting etc.
  • Excellent experience in setting up/supporting audio visual and video conferencing equipment (e.g. projectors, microphones etc.) both in person and via phone.
  • Working in an ITIL environment
  • Customer focused and a friendly telephone manner
  • ‘Can do’ attitude

The following are desirable:

  • ITIL Foundation
  • Experience adhering to SLAs
  • Working in a KPI driven environment

 

Shifts:

You must be willing to work the following 3 shifts and will be required to do at least one 7:30am – 4pm shift a week.

  • 7:30am – 4pm
  • 8:30am – 5pm
  • 10am – 6:30pm

 

Rate: Circa £27,000 (depending on the candidate's experience) + Benefits (23 days holiday, birthday off, pension, healthcare, eye care, dental scheme and more!)
