An excellent opportunity has come up for a 2nd Line Desktop Support Engineer to join a well-known law firm on a 6 months fixed term contract, in the City of London.

You will be providing both hardware and software support for the local office. Such duties include managing issues escalated from the Service Desk, logging all calls, ensuring quick and efficient resolution of issues, and assisting the Audio Visual team with the setup of conference rooms.

The following are essential:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in 2nd line support
  • Active Directory: GPO, troubleshooting etc.
  • Networking: TCP/IP DHCP, DNS WINS
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Citrix/Secure ID

The following are desirable:

  • Experience working for a law firm in a 1st/2nd Support role
  • ITIL Foundation or experience working in an ITIL environment


Rate: Circa £40,000 (6 Months FTC) + Benefits
