My client is a leading Managed Service Provider with clients in various sectors such as IT, Finance, Law and Communications. They are looking to hire an enthusiastic 2nd line support analyst to join their London or Portsmouth based offices on a permanent basis.

This role may require travel across the UK to our numerous client sites. Petrol allowances will be provided by the company.

We are looking for the following:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in 2nd line support
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Experience supporting Windows (7-10) / Windows Server (2008 - 2016)
  • Active Directory: GPO, troubleshooting experience.
  • Good working knowledge of SharePoint
  • Knowledge of mobile phone technologies (iOS, Microsoft and Android)
  • Experience building virtual machines
  • Customer focused and a friendly telephone manner
  • ‘Can do’ attitude

Your responsibilities include:

  • Being the point of escalation from the service desk, providing 2nd line support
  • Troubleshooting and providing solutions to users’ technical issues
  • Managing incidents in line with KPIs; and adhering to existing IT methodologies, policies and procedures.
  • Responding to situations that require a high sense of urgency
  • Providing clear and concise documentation of procedures for technical resolution

Salary: £28,000 per year
