An excellent opportunity has come up for a 2nd Line Support Analyst to join a well-known law firm on a 6 months fixed term contract, in the City of London. If you’re looking to gain experience in the Legal sector, then this is the role for you!

Role:

You will be responsible for providing in-person 2nd line support for the local office. Such duties include call logging and maintaining the call management system, ensuring all requests are responded to and resolved in a timely manner, and escalating issues to a senior member of the team.

Please note that this role is a user-based support role with a strong emphasis on providing face-to- face 2nd line support. This role is mainly desk-side and may not require remote support (email/telephone).

The following are essential:

  • Confident in providing face-to-face 2nd line support
  • Confident in troubleshooting a DHCP server
  • Experience in connecting printers to the network
  • Setting up/replacing IT equipment
  • Mobile devices support e.g. iPhone, Blackberry, Samsung
  • Windows 2007/2010
  • Microsoft Office 2013 / 2016 (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • ‘Can do’ attitude

The following are desirable:

  • Experience working for a law firm in a 1st/2nd Support role
  • ITIL Foundation or experience working in an ITIL environment

 

Rate: Circa £30,000 (6 Months FTC)
