An exciting opportunity has come up for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join an IT Services company based in Hampshire with on-site parking.

You will be the first point of contact for customers and will be required to provide an exceptional level of technical support whilst providing excellent customer service. Such duties include call logging and maintaining the call management system; managing incidents from the Service Desk in line with KPIs and ensuring all requests are responded to and resolved in a timely manner.

Besides the above duties, your role will have a strong focus on supporting Domino/Notes environments. Thus, if you are a Domino enthusiast or looking to be trained in Domino, then this is the role for you!

The following are essential:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in 2nd line support
  • Supporting Microsoft Windows OS and Office 365
  • Active Directory: GPO, troubleshooting etc.
  • Exchange 2007/2010/2013
  • Experience adhering to SLAs and working in a KPI driven environment
  • Can do’ attitude
  • Domino enthusiast!

The following are desirable:

  • Experience working for a Managed Service Provider
  • Certification in IBM Domino/Notes
  • ITIL Foundation or experience working in an ITIL environment


Rate: Circa £32,000 + 10% Shift Bonus + Benefits (25 days holiday plus bank holidays, up to 3% pension, BUPA healthcare and childcare vouchers & more!)
