Due to continuous growth, my client who are a well-known law firm in the City of London, are looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. If you’re looking to gain experience in the Legal sector or looking to build upon your Legal experience with a reputable company, then this role is for you!

Role:

You will be providing both hardware (more requests as opposed to break/fix) and software support in a 60%/40% split for the local office and will be required to make contributions for the on-going improvements of the Support function. Such duties include managing issues escalated from the Service Desk, logging and tracking all work, ensuring all requests are responded to and resolved in a timely manner, and assisting the Audio-Visual team with the setup and support of conference rooms.

The following are essential:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in 2nd line support
  • Active Directory: GPO, troubleshooting etc.
  • Networking: TCP/IP DHCP, DNS
  • Supporting Microsoft Windows 10, Office 2016
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and cope under pressure
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
  • ‘Can do’ attitude

The following are desirable:

  • Experience working for a law firm in a 1st/2nd Support role
  • ITIL Foundation or experience working in an ITIL environment

Shift Pattern:

Must be flexible with the shift pattern that rotates on a weekly basis, including a 8:30am start (earliest) and a 8pm finish (latest)

 

Rate: Circa £35,000 + Benefits
