A leading commodities trading organisation are seeking a Business Analyst within the Regulatory Reporting space who will help support the development of systems capabilities and new services.

You will be confident working with both business and IT stakeholders across the organisation, focusing on a great amount of information and fact-finding, becoming a subject matter expert on existing business processes and IT solutions used for regulatory reporting.

In order to excel in this position, it is essential you have a good understanding of IT terminology and be the interface between the business and IT teams.


  • Analysis of regulatory requirements
  • Providing on-going support to business teams
  • Business process modelling or UML
  • Business, user, functional and non-functional requirements
  • Extensive Information gathering and fact-finding
  • Meeting key stakeholders’ expectations in pressured timescales (post and pre-trade)
  • Supporting the relevant teams to ensure test cases are comprehensive
  • Produce high-quality documents relevant to projects


  • Excellent Regulatory Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years in a similar role with strong regulatory experience and from an Exchange or Clearinghouse background
  • Experience working within reporting space - MiFID II and EMIR
  • Agile software development, V Model and Waterfall methodologies
  • Working knowledge of the SDLC
  • Business Analysis Qualification (ISEB,BCS,IIBA,CBAP/CCBA)
  • Experience delivering projects within a fast-paced environment

Business Analyst – £70,000 - £75,000 + Bonus
