My client, a leading, multifaceted organisation in the automotive industry, has an exciting opening for a 1st/2nd Line Support Analyst to join their team on an initial 3-month contract basis. They are a global organisation and strive to create an ambitious, team-centred and customer-oriented working environment.

Joining the Service Desk Team, this role will be responsible for resolving 1st/2nd line technical issues and providing support across all the region’s IT systems, including onsite and local support on desktop, applications, mobile, telephony and print. You will thrive on solving complex problems with creative solutions, and bring an active and flexible attitude to the team.

The following are essential:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience of ticketing systems and working within contracted SLAs
  • Good knowledge/experience of providing Win7/Win10 support and deployment
  • Good knowledge of web-based IT Service Management tools, e.g. ServiceNow
  • Knowledge and understanding of Windows Server
  • Good experience with MS Office Suite, O365, and Active Directory
  • Good remote access knowledge, including Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client
  • Experience of providing remote support to home workers
  • Good knowledge and experience of MDM tools, e.g. Intune/AirWatch
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

The following are desirable:

  • ITIL V3 Foundation qualification or higher
  • Microsoft Certified Windows OS qualifications
  • Intermediate Excel & other MS Office program skills
  • Experience of supporting bespoke web applications to end users
