Our client, a global name in the commodities trading sector, is looking for a DevOps Engineer at the associate level to join their London based office.

Role:

In this role, you will be collaborating with multiple departments, with the focus of automating and streamlining the operations and processes within the business.

You will be responsible for actively building and maintaining various tools for deployment, monitoring and operations. Troubleshooting and resolution of issues within the development, test and production environments.

The following experience is essential for the role:

  • Strong Coding skills, ideally from a software development background 
  • Previous work history of configuring and maintaining UNIX
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Ruby
  • Experience with Microservices such as Kubernetes and Docker
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools, for example, Jenkins, Travis or Solano CI
  • Working history of cloud-based technology, preferably with both AWS and Azure experience
  • Configuration using Puppet
  • An understanding and experience of working in an Agile Environment.

Salary: £60,000 per year
