Helpdesk Team Leader (Utilities Sector) – Permanent – £25,000 + Benefits – Redhill, London

The Role: The helpdesk team leader will be responsible for leading and developing the IT Helpdesk function, ensuring internal customers receive an exceptional experience! Using great team leading skills, you will manage the workload and priorities within the 1st line support team. The client is currently going through a major change with regards to their IT Helpdesk function. An individual who is willing to develop their own skills and gain valuable experience along the way is desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer 1st line support calls via telephone, email, portal and face-to-face.
  • Provide high levels of customer service, with effective and efficient resolutions.
  • Oversee staff management – rotas, mentoring, development, and appraisals.
  • Provide input to KPI reports on the team’s productivity.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Good management skills.
  • ITIL Foundation qualification.
  • Experience as a hands-on IT team leader.
  • Relevant technical skills to ensure a high first-time fix rate.

This client requires 2/3 days a week working in their Redhill offices.
