Due to continuous growth, my client who is an established global law firm in the City of London, is seeking an IT Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis. Some travel will be required to the Berlin office when back to normal working life.



This role has come about as the current incumbent has been promoted and moved internally. You will be working within the Portfolio Management team (18 people in total) which consists of a mix of Program and Project Managers, Business Analysts and Administrative team members, who are based globally including London, New York and Berlin. You will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of technology projects. Such projects will be focused on areas of Security, Infrastructure (including Cloud), integrations, financial systems and desktops.


The following are essential:

  • Experience working in the Legal sector
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management or IT Management coordinating and/supporting IT business processes.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or Prince2 certification.
  • Possesses a thorough understanding of Agile project methodologies and techniques.
  • Ability to establish relationships with business and technology professionals
  • Interest in creatively solving challenges within given constraints.
  • Possesses general understanding in various areas of technology such as application programming, database and system design.
  • Demonstrated awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and cope under pressure


The following are desirable:

  • Experience with ServiceNow PPM
  • Experience working with international teams
  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst.


Working Hours:

  • 9.30am – 6pm


Flexible Working: Currently, the organisation is working from home and it is optional to go into the office. Post-covid, there may be some flexible working (TBC).


Salary: Up to £80,000 (depending on experience) + Bonus + Benefits (including 25 days’ leave every year with an option to buy extra, childcare vouchers, pension, health-wellness programme, private GP services, employee discounts etc.
