This is an exciting opportunity for an IT Service Desk Manager to lead the service desk team of this financial institution.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and priorities tasks within the Service Desk to meet agreed service levels, including a high first-time fix rate.
  • Ensure both team and end-user satisfaction is high, including mentoring and coaching your team where necessary.
  • Oversee and monitor the escalation if Incidents, Requests and Problems to other teams or third parties if necessary
  • Liaise with stakeholders and teams within the wider business
  • Monitor quality of documentation
  • Actively promote the use of appropriate techniques, methodologies and tools

 

Necessary skills:

  • Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 2010/2016
  • Knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP / DNS / DHCP / Active Directory
  • Working knowledge of Avaya VOIP Technologies
  • Experience of Citrix/XenDesktop
  • Networking topologies
  • Exchange 2010/ O365
  • Customer-centric
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Experience managing a team
  • ITIL methodology
