IT Support Engineer - £25k - London

An IT Engineer is required to join a small and friendly team within a global design company based in West / Central London.

You will be required to provide and maintain responsive IT support for desktop, laptop, print and telephony and act as the first point of contact for end-user IT requests and any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting desktop, workstation and laptop IT systems
• Hardware and software maintenance (refresh/renewals)
• Onsite build and deployment (including network patching, asset labelling, device naming and domain management)
• Create and maintain detailed hardware inventory
• Manage all relevant system, application and utility software installations, upgrades and version control across the estate
• Creating and maintaining detailed software inventory, asset register and configuration records
• Managing system, application and software installations and upgrades
• Support other members of the IT team as required

Skills and Knowledge Required:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Microsoft desktop, server-based applications and networks
• Windows Server
• Active Directory
• Group Policy Management
• Networking
• VM Environments
• MS MCITP qualification or equivalent
• Hardware and OS support
• Extensive knowledge of MS Windows networked environments
• Build, configure and deployment experience
• Good analytical skills developed in a complex IT environment, ideally in a creative business environment
