IT Support Engineer – Leading consultancy- Fixed term contract £35-36K

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a System engineer to join my client, a leading consultancy.

The organisation prides itself in fostering an excellent working culture, with a strong focus on wellbeing.

The role is fully on site, 5 days a week in Alton. They are looking for someone with excellent customer service and telephone skills as well,  who is happy to complete various 1st and 2nd line support tasks within a friendly IT team, resolving all queries efficiently or escalating to 3rd line support where needed.

Key skills:

•            Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar IT support role, working to contracted SLAs

•            Positive and enthusiastic communicator

•            Experience of delivering excellent customer service

•            Strong Windows 7/10 support experience

•            Experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, and Exchange


Examples of work will include but no be restricted to:

•            Providing Helpdesk support to Institute staff.

•            Carrying out agreed system software maintenance, tasks, managing incidents and dealing with escalations.

•            This role would suit an exceptional communicator looking for a new opportunity to grow and develop their skillset within IT.

•            Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

•            Proactive approach to problem solving and service improvement.

•            Ability to cross train and pick up different technologies as required.
