An established global financial services company is looking for an experienced QA Analyst to join their team based in Canary Wharf. You would be working in the Canary Wharf office 3 days a week, working from home the other two days.

 

You will be involved in all aspects of quality assurance activities, working closely with other Quality Engineers, Developers and Product Managers. You will get the opportunity to grow your knowledge by implementing effective functional test solutions (manual and automated).

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured testing framework and automation test suites.
  • Participate in user story analysis to understand and identify any gaps in requirement and acceptance criteria.
  • Determine appropriate test coverage for new features and bug fixes.
  • Understand the system changes, diagnose failed test scripts, and determine if software defects have been introduced and write detailed defect reports.
  • Perform periodic load and performance tests to ensure the application performance is optimal and acceptable.

 

Experience and skills required:

  • Ability to interpret complex business requirements and design quality test cases that can be reused.
  • Developing testing frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, JavaScript, NodeJS, WebdriverIO
  • System integration, user acceptance and regression testing.
  • Testing back end API’s, complex web applications and FIX protocols.
  • Load/performance testing of web-application and APIs
  • Background in financial services.
