Computappoint are currently actively looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to assist our client with a relocation of three offices to a location in Central London.

The client is a large global asset management company.

Below is some more information on the role including some key skills required of the successful candidate:

Key duties include;

  • Extensive stakeholder management.
  • Coordination of staff and 3rd party partners and suppliers where they are involved in project and service delivery
  • Preparation of key project documentation and maintenance of portfolio level plans including associated resourcing plans
  • Adhering to the project lifecycle including maintenance of detailed project plans, project charters, risks & issue registers, and regular reporting
  • Running regular project and portfolio steering groups, presenting progress, risks and decision points
  • Management of project costs (cash and P&L)

 

Qualification and Requirements

  • Proven problem management and resolution skills essential
  • Project staff supervision experience essential
  • Must have experience of high pressure, large scale, and complex system environments
  • Ability to understand business processes and use of data
  • Financial services experience preferred
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • An understanding of the desktop, server, voice and network architecture
  • Prince 2 / PMP qualified
  • Must be able to demonstrate full project lifecycle experience, taking projects from the concept/inception phase right through to final delivery
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience of managing multiple concurrent complex deliveries
  • Must be able to demonstrate risk management in past portfolio covering identification, assessment and ongoing risk management
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong management of external third party vendors
