A leading IT Services company is looking appoint a service desk analyst to join a small team who provide 1st line support on a 24 x 7 basis, to a diverse range of clients and internal staff. This Infrastructure Technology and Services organisation provides great opportunities for positive and enthusiastic team players to progress their career in IT.

On successful completion of a 3 month probation the base salary will be increased to £26k.

Experience

  • 12 – 18 months service desk experience under an ITIL aligned framework – with a good understanding of Microsoft technologies
  • Monitor calls, emails and automated alerts, bringing them to resolution or escalating where appropriate
  • Delivering exceptional customer service within agreed time frames in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to understand and follow documented incident processes
  • Previous work in a network operations centre or 1st line support role is desirable

You will work on a 24/7 shift rotation basis: 12 hours - 4 day shifts (7am to 7pm) on, 4 days off, followed by 4 night shifts (7pm to 7am) then 4 days off.
