Technical Project Manager (Platform Build & Implementation) - 65,000 + great benefits 

A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a Technical Project Manager, working for a UK Leading Transportation company in Central London.

The role? 

As a Technical PM, you will lead the platform build and implementation of services from existing to new RARS platform, ensuring that deliverables are of a consistently high standard as the programme is high profile, high capacity, and a public-facing system. 

The role will be focussed around customer experience and delivery, so you must have worked on projects with external vendors or a customer facing project. 

You will be expected to be professionally qualified with a relevant degree/postgraduate qualification. Extensive (at least 5 years) project management experience in delivering large complex projects with PRINCE2 practitioner or equivalent project management certification.

 

Familiar with the Software Development Lifecycle, preferably with multiple methodologies (Agile / Scrum, Waterfall etc.), as well as experience with modern technology and architectural approaches (SOA, Cloud etc.), ideally with experience of delivering projects within SaaS/Cloud environments.

 

Essential

  • You must have led a project of similar nature to RARS2

  • Highly experienced and competent in project planning and budgeting

  • Highly experienced and effective in the management of people and teams

  • Highly experienced in managing risks, issues and change in complex project environments

  • Highly experienced in working in time-pressured environments with excellent delivery record

  • Highly experienced in working with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers​

  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, able to communicate to all levels of organisations including project boards, governance groups and senior management
